In conjunction with The Villages Lifelong Learning College, we present a roster of nationally known professional art instructors. We endeavor to find an exciting slate of teachers with experience in a variety of subjects. For a sneak preview of each instructor’s paintings, Google their website and enjoy viewing their work.
Our workshops offer learning experiences structured to reach each student at their present level and help them build skills they can apply to their future paintings. As an art student in our workshops, you have the opportunity to focus on your creativity and get to know other like-minded people in a relaxed atmosphere.
The class rooms provide each student with your own 6’ table. A mirrored demonstration area allows for a personal perfect view of the instructor’s demonstration. Typically, instructors demonstrate and lecture in the morning followed by a student practice session. Fresh coffee is provided onsite and lunch can be purchased and one of the many outstanding restaurants in the area. After lunch, the instructor may demonstrate again and the student can practice and create until the end of each day.
The Villages is located in Florida, between Leesburg and Ocala, approximately one hour from either Tampa or Orlando. The Villages offers a shuttle to and from the Orlando airport. You can inquire about price at 1-877-255-8756 or you can rent a car for the duration of your trip.
